It is energizing and inspiring to be in a room with others who are also working to become more productive.
I teach productivity and time-management workshops for writers, artists, students, academics, entrepreneurs, and others. Participants leave my workshops with these benefits:
- A deep understanding of the mechanisms of productivity, and methods for boosting their work “tempo” so that they can immediately start producing more per hour.
- Recognition of any barriers that might be holding them back, including perfectionism and ambivalence, plus concrete strategies they can use immediately to overcome them.
- Specific techniques for starting projects, making it through their middles, finishing them, and sharing their work.
All culminating in a sense of liberated, joyful possibility, leading to renewed commitment and greatly increased productivity. (Many participants report post-workshop breakthroughs.)
Online workshops work very well, and attract an international audience. I have been teaching online for nearly a decade.
The below is a generic description. Workshops are customized for each audience and organization.

Inspiration exists and is available to everyone at nearly any time. Underproductivity, procrastination, and blocks are solvable problems. The secret to achieving a state of near-perpetual inspiration (a.k.a., “flow”) is to switch from a scarcity to an abundance mindset, and also from a shame/blame mindset to one focused on problem-solving. In this fun and interactive workshop, we'll delve deep into the heart of underproductivity so you can see, once and for all, what forces are holding you back. Then we'll discuss solutions—lots of them—that you can start using to immediately boost your productivity and reduce stress.
